Canna in the bog

Was just wondering if all cannas are the same, or do you plant only water canna in the bog? I dug a bunch in the fall and I’m looking for a new spot. Do you just plant the tuber?

I start mine in soil and when they get started growing, move to bog- minus the soil. The bulbs always rot when I put them directly in the bog.
I have regular canvas in my bogs.

Neat might try that, if the ones I saved actually live, I usually kill them off.

Same as @mrsclem - but I buy mine already started from the nursery every year. I just treat them as annuals. I love canna in my bog! (Can you see them up there, just left of center?)

Nice! This was my first ever canna! in the bog. And I had some of my first ever in some pots, would love to have them in the bog.
