Hi guys. I posted a month ago about my frogs and tads. No, they're still not surviving. Even the spawn are
disappearing and I'm still sleuthing. I bought a new test kit (strips) and I got a very disturbing reading for chlorine! How can this be? I top my pond with well water only. It's very hot here (s. florida) and I'm also worried about depleted oxygen (90% of the green string algae has disappeared too) but the guppies are happy. A new mystery. I can't stand it!

Thanks guys. OK I'll get a new drop test kit. I had one but it was really old. But the strip test kit I just bought seemed perfect. It is Tetra EasyStrips 6-in-1 Aquarium test strips. Chlorine, Nitrite, Nitrate, Alkalinity, Hardness, pH.
