Hi,

I think I sorted eventually my small pond & clean the box, sponge & bio filters.

The instructions do not say about cleaning the UV & the pump, is it necessary to clean them.

dirt/ silt will stick to the uv light bulb over time thus reducing it effectiveness. the new uv have a slider to clean the glass bulb so yes it should be cleaned

I thought the UV light itself will actually keep the glass tube clear. Since nothing can live on it

it's not algae it's just silt check it out the new uv's have the option of a slide that sweeps the glass tube
