Could goldfish be spawning already?

Normally I see my goldfish spawning in April. We have had some unseasonably warm days this February. I’m in Zone 6b, USA. My fish are swimming around like little maniacs today. Could they be spawning already? Yikes!

I'm in 7b and there has been definite chasing. Spring is in the air!

My pond is half ice gold fish are the only thing moving this week

Mine are definitely spawning. Much chasing, splashing, and general making of whoopee. But the fish were active all winter here. Not that we really had a winter at all this year, what with the rise in ocean temperatures in the Mediterranean.
