If it is not the impeller assembly, then the entire pump is going bad and needs to be replaced. With a direct drive pump the impeller and spindle assembly cannot be removed as one unit. The drive spindle is factory sealed as it is an integral part of the pump motor. Mag-drive pumps are not powered by an electric motor but by magnets, hence the name.

That has to be a typo, because that is a mag-drive pump.

Yet another case of "losing something in the translation"! The difference between the two pump types is that in the magnetic drive, the magnet/impeller assembly can be removed as one unit, whereas in a direct-drive pump the magmet and shaft are sealed inside the motor, with the shaft end protruding through a seal. The impeller on a direct-drive pump can often be removed by unscrewing it, but the magnet is part of the motor. BTW, I believe that the name 'Jebao' is Chinese for 'Buyer Beware', or some such. I work at a garden centre, in the pond department, and every year I get folks bringing in pumps, filters and low-voltage lights for repair or replacement. 90% of these are Jebao (or Jebo, or some such), and most are irreparable. The plastic used in these products is junk, and I'd advise anyone to spend a bit more for a brand name product.
John
P.s. No, I DEFINITELY do not sell these products!
