So I've been working on clearing some brush out of my grandfathers yard and was getting ready to lay some lawn seed. Was picking up a soil tester to check things out before I started. I've always done PH but never the N,P,K. After reading the N,P,K instructions it seems they just go on what gets dissolved in the water when you mix it.

Would that work on ponds? If someone wanted to dose potash for root development? Like maybe before winter to boost tuber/rhizome growth?

I would probably never use it. But was curious if others did. Could be great for maybe hydroponic veggies or something.
