hi i dont no if this is the rite place to post but is fiberglass fish safe or do u have to paint it with fish safe paint becouse i have fiberglassed some holes in a large cold water tank to put my fish for when i buld my new pond and i dont want to put them in the go back and thay all be dead :(

I would qualify what Haro said with a bit of clarification... Fiberglass when mixed with an epoxy or resin to patch holes is safe because the glass fibers are contained. However you should NEVER use something like fiberglass furnace filters for your pond filtration, because the glass fibers will get broken over time and possibly be eaten by your fish.

I know this doesn't apply to the original question, I just wanted to head off any problems down the road if someone comes through searching for fiberglass...
