I finished my pond this weekend and I've got 2 pumps going to my waterfall. The total GPH is 950 in a 400 gal. pond is this enough or too much? Also I'm using a Pondmaster 1000 w/ a 700gph pump with the sponges in the bottom chamber for biological filtration along with the normal chemical and mechanical filter pads. A Tetra 5w U/V clarifier with a 250gph pump as my set-up. Good/bad?

Shouldn't be a problem, I don't think it is every possible to have too much filtration.

It is recommended that the water be turned over once every hour.

The GPH for the UV is within specs.
