Ian have you thought anymore about doing this garden forum?

Yup, I'm just awaiting a new version of forum software to be released (it's in beta at the moment, so won't be long :D). I'm hoping that in ~6-8 weeks there will be a garden forum up and running :).

As soon is progress is made, I'll be posting it here :). The forum will be running some new software, which looks really good!

Just as a quick update - I've not forgotten about this thread, but I'll delay the launch until before Spring otherwise the gardening site may be very quiet for a while ;).

I'm in and remember right now I am planning projects for spring and when that gets here I will be busy with those projects .I bought 3 acres 8 years ago and the land had been stripped bare and I have put back over 100 trees and shrubs and just been looking at sights for plants already .I have found some great prices at one sight florida hill nursery so will be ordering from them .I plan some stuff for this time of year because things are reduced to a great price and since we have a longer planting season here .I know some on the sight don't, but with the economy the way it is we have to find ways to save

Ian if you could start it in February before people start planning for the vegetable gardens and gardens in general that would be good.

Here in Florida our season just started. Tomatos, peppers and romaine are already going, in my aquaponic garden. These pics are from sept. 30.

Bit of a blast from the past - but is a gardening forum something that would still appeal?

why not we all love to do some kind of gardening .I think it would be nice to post both failures with plants and how to make the plant a winner and winners that we may all want to try out .I have learned about a lot of plants that I never even heard of on here .But it really helps to see what it will look like and help in making the decision to plant one or not .I would vote yes
