So sorry you lost one of your koi. I wonder what was wrong with him. I hope no o e else gets sick either.

So my internet isn't working, so I only have access through my phone. So please excuse any bad spelling or grammer, and I won't be able to post pics for a while. Frontier had no idea really when someone will come fix it. At first they were talking May, until I freaked and told them I have a home business and need this fixed before month end!! Grrrrr.....

Yes it is ridiculous! Best part is its probably their fault too. Someone moved in next door and they were out here putting lines in underground. Tech support said they probably cut our line in the process.

Around here, it would have to be fixed within 24-48 hours, or you get credit on your bill. When you mention "Well, then I won't be paying for my bill until it's fixed" they seem to take quicker action! Or, your neighbor will be starting out with some very unhappy new neighbors!

We had Frontier here when Verizon left our phone service to them. We had problems w/ the lines and the fix it guy came out and said the lines were old and would keep doing this till replaced w/ new ones. I asked when they will replace w/ the new ones and he just laughed and said not till they cease to function w/ repairs all the time. We excited quickly to Comcast. Glad we did!

Ok. So another neighbor messaged me and said his went down yesterday too. Then this afternoon there were 2 frontier trucks here at both my neighbors houses, but never came to mine. Half an hour after they left I got a call from frontier telling me that they are behind and won't be able to come here till Monday. WTF!

I would be on the horn with them every 30 minutes until they get there! There probably is someone in India that could take your call right now!!! LOL Good luck, Jen. That really sucks when you have a home business that depends on the internet and you can't access it! Seriously, keep track of the number of days with no service, and deduct that many days from your next payment (if you send a check, that is, if it's directly debited from your account, you're probably SOL ... but you could call and tell them no longer debit my account, I'm not sure I want to pay you anymore!!! :)

Call them and tell them you would like to cancel your service as you have none and see how fast they run to fix it! If they don't then I would really change service if you have another choice.

Speaking of canceling service! I have/had a "spare" credit card. Had not used it in 3 years. They started sending me zero bills. WTH! Then they sent me a $10 credit! So, I sent it back and told them to send me the check. LOL They said it was a credit to use toward a purchase, wanting me to use the card. So, yesterday I get a bill for Direct TV, little over $50 worth. Called the 800 number and they kept wanting my phone number, all automated, so I called the credit card company. Told them I want to cancel, they filed report on the charge, and removed it. Told them no more card. They begged me to keep it. We have lowest interest rate. I have 5% and can use it toward bill, they have 10% but only can use it to buy more stuff! Told them I'm happy with what I have. They made about 5 more offers, each one better than the last one, trying to get me to stay!
So, moral of the story is they all want our business, push their buttons and see how much they will offer you to keep you around!!! Bet you could easily get at least a free month, Jen! Good luck! If they don't offer you anything to keep your business, I'd change providers.

Was planning to start threatening to take my business to comcast Monday. My understanding is they don't do service calls on the weekend. Am also planning to request a credit for my time without service!

On another note though, saw a robin taking a bath in my bog today just in front of the waterfall. Wish I could have gotten a picture but she took off before I could get the camera. She was having a heyday out there!

The birds love the bog to bath in, they have a great time splashing around. I love watching them. Then up to a tree to groom themselves. I have depressions for the birds at various points in the bog just for bathing.

When I finish filling in the pea gravel in my big bog, my plan is to keep several areas with water ... for the birds and for the dogs to drink out of as well. I've seen a robin in my waterfall picking at stuff, and I'm sure she was eating snails that are on the rocks there. Good robin! They were the little snails from my farm pond, that were introduced into my pond with the creeping water primrose. Oh well, everyone likes to eat the snails, so it's a win win situation.

lol koiguy, mine bath then fly into the maple tree to groom and poop, don't have any marks on our decks. The bird feeder is right off the deck but they bail to the woods once the get their fill so we are lucky in that sense.
