Hi, I'm trying all methods to remove algae from lotus pond but it doesn't work. Can I get some advice on how to deal with algae ?

How is your pond set up? Fish in it? Circulation?

Best way to do it is get at the root of the problem which is excess nutrients, have something growing in there when the lotus is dormant to help out compete the algae for said nutrients. Setup a remote bog is one way to consume nutrients.

The same nutrients that feed the algae feeds the lotus. Lotus like to grow in pond/ swamps. no flow . often completely over run with duckweeds and algae.

If what you have is just a body of water with lotus - no fish, no filtration, no aeration - I think you're fighting a losing battle. But I doubt the lotuses mind. I'd embrace it as part of the beauty.

Got to have some circulation, at least. Then you can have a way to move some water through filtration and maybe even past a UV light.
Or, love it for what it is.
