I put my finch feeders out with thistle in it and love watching them as much as the hummingbirds.I really love sitting and watching them and the butterflies and my dogs pee wee puddles and king arthur

I have 4 of those feeders and 8 hummingbird feeders .I just love to see out on the front porch on the swing and listen to the pond and watch the birds and butterflies ,I think that is what i miss most about summer .All the chitter chatter .

That is a pretty bird mogsie!

I love the goldfinches, we have flocks of them here in the summer, that is how you know spring is here, when they arrive. Usually gone by the end of september. I have hundreds in the wild flower field eating the seeds.
Sissy are those stockings you are using to feed them? Like how it looks, they have not really liked the thistle feeders I have hung up.

Gosh I wish we got those mogsie they are pretty .We get red ones brown ones and the yellow ones and ones that look a little orange .Yellow and red ones must of been mixing :cheerful:

Very pretty photo RobAmy. Never seen your neat looking ones here mogsie. I see the kind RobAmy has now and then here during the Spring/Summer but the cats scare them away. These Finches come around my pond.

I have never seen them here mogsie .I have seen more cardinals than ever this year though

What a pretty bird mogsie! Never seen them here but seen a Bluebird once and lots of Blue jays. The Goldfinch is our state bird.

The blue bird is supposed to be the state bird here I think ,we have lots of them .But our license plate has a cardinal on it
