I only have goldfish,no idea on koi but since it's a hybrid cross it just prolly picked up the colors from who knows which kind of koi or goldfish. I bet the colors will change too as it grows.

we use to call them muts, mutations when they'd cross breed now there the highly sought after

To be honest, most koi aren’t “called”‘anything. There are a few specific colorations that have been identified as unique or desirable. Most of them are fish that would have been culled by breeders looking for type.
