Hello to all, my name is Bryan. Been in the hobby since I was little around 5. Back in June of 2012, I asked my uncle to bulid me an above the ground koi pond. The reason why I ask him to build me the above ground pond was for two reason. Reason #1: to take care of koi fish of course. Reason #2: become a broker of koi fish. Buy koi fish at wholesale price, keep them for a month or so and then sell them back with a little mark up.
Here are the specification of my above ground:
5 feet long by 4 feet wide by 3 feet high (~450 gallons)
Orignal equipments (since the beginning after the built)
Jebao CF-10 with 13 watts uv clarifier built-in (up to 1500 gallons pond)
Jebao AMP-4600 (rated at 1200 gph)
Upgraded the equipment (beginning of July 2013)
Jebao CF-30 with 18 watts uv clarifier built-in (up to 4500 gallons pond)
Jebao AMP-18000 (rated at 4600 gph)
So yeah, that is me. The reasons why I upgraded my equipments will be explain in upcoming posts.
