How fast does parrots feather grow?

Mine is green, but doesn't seem to be growing and spreading like I remember it did the first year of the pond.

Well, for now, our weather is fairly on the cool side [highs no more than high 80's], an average spring. I was hoping for better coverage by this time.

Since this is my first spring with it I don't know for sure but I put it in late fall last year and over the winter it completely covered my pond. After I did the cleaning and put it all back in, it hasn't spread nearly at all.

Depends on how many other aquatic plants you have. At some point the plants begin to compete with each other for available nutrients especially in the Spring when they are in full growth cycle. The stronger plants will win the battle.

@Meyer Jordan So, actually, this is a good thing -- from a water quality standpoint, as it means that my plants are doing their job. OK, I can live with that!
