This frost finally created a fair amount of ice on my little pond... :smug: alas, most is already melted by now.... (n)

I love winter!

That's beautiful! My favourite kind of day is cold and sunny :) That being said, the temperatures in the UK don't tend to get as low as some places in the US!

Spectacular photo! We've had a few cold days, but warmer than usual for us. We have plants that are budding.....that shouldn't be. I can't wait for our ski trip in Feb/March, when we'll have a week of REAL winter!

Yep, same here in this area about warming up a bit. If we have another week of this, then I would not be surprised if some of our early Spring budders will try to start and then we will likely get hit by a big "Arctic Blast"... not good at all for the plants.

oh yeah... and... jealous about the ski trip... i love skiing.

Nice picture.
We rarely get that kind of winter frost down in the valley here where we live, just snow.
I bet you don't have to worry about this happening in Texas hey Charles?

Not for me, but my sister just 90 miles south of me and fellas out west sure have had some big snow drifts this year to contend with.... Been about 6 years since my place have had anything like that...

Perfect time to perfect your snow tunneling techniques. ;)
