I have been using computers for 20 years and I have only owned a mac for 2 or so years. I use both every day. Saying most people use pcs is a silly argument really most people drive honda's and not a Bentley does that make a Bentley a bad car?
use a mac for awhile then you can argue about it. hell my blind wife uses a mac it costs less to buy one then the bloated speech software for the pc she used for years. She can stream music from her mac or iphone surf the web from both and do other things easier then from a pc.
Time machine would have saved all your photo's for you and let you go back in time to find missing ones.

This is a test, trying a new photoshop program and posting from a new external hard drive.

appears it's working, still a bit of a PITA but better.

Sorry Larkin I accidentally edited your post, then corrected it.
Dave

I guess I don't undersatand the difficulty.
1. Take a picture
2. Save it to your computer
3. Crop and resize using your favorite photo editing program
4. Upload into gardenpondforum.com
There is no other needed task and no shorter method.
I cannot imagine any other difficulty or steps. I have done this for 10 years and thousands of posts on this and many other forums.

I did not mean a mac. I mean all of the pic hosting sites. Now what would you do if I did build a big pond? I just need to find someone that wants one and has some money.

Dave here is the problem, some pics will automatically post, some are to large, It's a PITA to check each picture individually, I've reset the camer several times, I'm trying to find a way to make every pic I have capable to be posted without having to crop, copy, resize, move to a new folder, etc. It would be a heck of a lot simpler if the site would just accept larger format. Out of six forums I post on this one and koiphen are the two that give me issues. On the diecast and Nascar forums I have never had a issue. Which is another reason this is starting to PMO! I have to many hobbies to go out and spend money on a NEW MAC! Just today, I spent over $800, one external harddrive (Which I have been needing for a while) $163, One advanced photoshop program, $171, Two limited edition diecast, $210, paid for the Camera I just ordered, $300 with shipping for a Olympus DSLR camera, Less than 1/2 of a new one! So you can see why I really get aggrevated, I spend a good chunk on my hobbies, I'm not intrested in spending another $1000 on a freaking MAC, Oh and BTW Steve, that doesn't include, warranty, tax, or ANY Virus protection or add ons, $999.99 at best buy!
