Nice, been unseasonably cold here the whole month of April. Lucky if we have hit the mid 70’s twice in the past 30 days, so not much going on in the blooming of pond plants in my pond.

I have lily buds coming up, no flowers yet, and the iris are just getting ready to maybe bloom.

Keep watching for new growth on our trees that got smacked when we hit 27f. I know it won't kill them, but it is our primary nectar flow trees I don't think they will flower this year.

Nothing is ready to bloom here, especially after a 26 degree night the other day. We're to have a major warm up this week, so stuff will start popping !

I’m in 7b too and I’ve had no water lily blooms but the Siberian iris divisions I stuck randomly in my bog...bare root just gravel...about 3 years ago....exploded. In fact they’ve already finished blooming....while their land brethren are just beginning to bloom. This pic was taken 3 weeks ago!!!

Very envious of all these blooms. Lower Michigan keeps bouncing between upper 30s and low 70s day to day so everything is still short and stubby, unfortunately. We've got green water though! So we know some "plants" are doing well!
