Is there a birth control for fish?

Most won't survive to adulthood and will be eaten before they get bigger. I would just leave them and remove some if still too many when bigger.

The only thing that ever worked for me was to lower the pond water and catch them. I don't know why, but many of our fry survived and I found it easier to catch them when they were small.

When you see the foam in the water from breeding . Don't feed the fish for a couple weeks. Even the koi will eat the eggs
