I just threw away my second set of pond lights. The first set, admittedly, I went cheap and they leaked like crazy. My second set, I spent a little more, but same issue. I just heard that I'm supposed to put vaseline around the seal to prevent leaking, and I haven't done that. Could that be my only issue? I would like to buy a set of lights that will not leak and last a little longer. Any suggestions please?

Hard to say, what kind of lights? The vaseline helps keep the seal in good shape
