yea i know....here in SoCal the temps are around 70 too i just wish that my pond was as warm as the air

It will be late in May before our pond temps are in the 70's. My Koi usually lay their eggs the first week in June. They won't do it before the temperature stabilizes in the low 70's.

Males are ready at two years, females at about 4 years. Mine are about 5-6 years old and are about 18" long.
