Moving From Ky to WV

I am moving form Kentucky To West Virginia in the next few weeks. I will be living up in the mountains (north eastern WV by MD) and would like to build me another pond to relocate my existing koi too. Looking for some advise from people that are familiar with the area and familiar with relocating fish over a 8 hour drive.

The fish should be fine as long as you have a sizable tub or bucket with aeration... Also, you could overnight ship them to your new location but that would be costly. I was able to move about 10 koi (7-18 inches) in a 40 gallon tub and they were fine after the 12 hours. Hope this is helpful.
