Pretty, he strikes me as a Sterling or Remington
Thank you! I googled that, but the search brought up any fish with even a tiny bit of silver on them...it really doesn't matter what kind he is, probably just a domestic mutt, but something about him made me unable to turn him away with the rest of the large ones this Spring, and made me choose to invest thousands in pond renovation...I mean something about his personality, not just his look

Thank you Usman! I will post more pics! You mentioned before I should post pics in my profile, what do you mean by that, is there a spot for pics in profile?
I like Sterling as a name! He looks like a Sterling (y)
I bet it's a pretty name when you say it, it just doesn't sound that good with my accent

It is a pretty fish.

Thank you!

There should be a rule of, never name a fish till it's been with you a year.
Well he's been with me 3yrs!
Anyway I didn't post to get ideas for a name, I just wanted to show it to you guys, I was curious to see if it's just me, or others like him too:)

I have several similar koi. My favorite is Blueberry- dark and pale blue with very long fins and that same mixed up scale pattern .I have always known it as German or Dragon scale.

I can never get picks of mine! They won't stay still long enough. Will try again with a different camera.
I used my phone! I usually feed them and wait until they slow down after eating, but I know it won't be as easy taking pics of the younger ones, they are way too active all the time!
PS. Pics don't have to be of professional quality, I'm happy to see whatever you (and anyone) can post, just to get an idea!:)
