Hi all love the ponds Ive seen posted here most are just fabulous.
Anyways I made a patio and a pond to go along side of it. I have never done either one before and all supplies came from Lowes except the well pump.
I wish I came here first I would have done things differently knowing then what I know now. I still love the results but, I feel as If i was to make a new one it would come out ten times better.
About the pond its roughly 9x14 20" deep. all the plants came from a local lake I raided with a pair of chest waders
We have 9 butterfly koi 4-5", 3 Comets 3", 2 sun turtles also raided from lake, and 1 1" mystery fish which just appeared 3 days later after collecting the plants too funny! FYI ... mystery fish has been identified as a Northern White perch.
