How the heck do yoru fish grow so fast? Mine are out in a pond and I feed them twice a day. They are at least 2 years old and about 8" long, not including the tail.
i feed minimum of 4 times a day... usualy 6 or 7. even in the basement pond. and i scoop the poop out before every feeding with a large fine meshed aquarium net. 55% protien food.

Guess I need to lower my prices- didn't move one fish this year and I really needed to sell at least 24 most of which were in the 16-18" size. I was asking $25-40. Some of these were fish I special ordered thru an importer who deals with a farm in Japan. I have sold fish in the past for $50.- 250. but I guess times are tough.

Koiguy, The pics and fish look great. I have drooled over pics of fish from fisheries and always thought it would be exciting to buy a batch. Just wondering if they all the same value or can you find a few "sleepers" in the batch or are there even a few you may keep until they get larger and sell them later? Good luck with your hobby turned business!
