Little birds are fine.
But I live between the ocean and the Everglades and there are some serious predatory birds all around.
I also want to keep out marauding and ever pooping Muscovy ducks!

Yep it's a messy job when creating the pond but you'll get it cleared up when all done.
That duck is giving your security sign the raspberry :p

The babies of just about anything are always cute. I bet even Tiny Tim was cute as a baby :dummy:

I managed to get a lot of the "wall" work done.
I still need to finish the gravel work, too.

Mosquito netting tacked to the inside cuz I think you have plants growing on top of the roof right?

I vacuumed up the silt with my new POND O VAC and hooked up the pump, filter and waterfall box.
I also added the enzyme packs into the water.
Now the project is about 90% finished

I've added one 8" koi and one 8" comet to the pond as well as some bacteria pellets to start the water cycle.
I've also added sponge layers and bio balls to the waterfall box and the yet to be installed skimmer.

You can lay window screening over the lattice .I get mine at habitat for humanity for 5 dollars a big wide roll
