Hi,
I am a new member and new to the pond hobby. My pond is very small about 5x10 maybe a little bigger or smaller... can't really remember... but I do know the deepest part of the pond is about 20 inches under water and about 24 to 30 inches from top of the ground. I have just recently added 5 goldfish to see if they would live and so far they are doing okay. My pond is probably about 500 to 700 gallons of water. I don't have any pond plants yet as it is so late in the year and there are no pond stores around here with the exception of Lowes and a few fish stores.
I live in northeastern kentucky on the ohio and west virginia borders. Winters here are unpredictable.. but I am going to leave the fish in the pond and just do a little to it as I can.
My pond is nothing like what you guys have on here.. but I must say I have enjoyed it. Looking forward to learning all i can from you guys.

Welcome, ponds come in all sizes. Everybody goes a slightly different path with their pond.

Post some pictures when you have time, we love to see what you have.
