Very beautiful. So can you explain this process for us newbies how this is done? Is the fall the best time to get the seeds from them?

Thanks Lou and vette. Tropical lilies like to make seeds when the water is warm and the plant well fed. Pollinating is done by transferring pollen from a second or third day bloom into the nectar cup of a first day bloom. All the details are at http://www.watergardenersinternational.org. It's a lot of fun making your own hybrids even though most of them are inferior to named varieties.
