My old transformer died. So I replaced it with this one which also died after about 4 hours.

I am thinking about getting this one to be the final solution:

The problem is that I need to connect the existing LED cord to the quick connect male connector of this transformer. I could by a $5-10 splitter and chop off the splitter and just solder and shrink wrap the connection. But that seems wasteful. Why can't I find just quick connect to bare wire adapters on the Internet? Does anyone have a suggestion for a source?

I saw transformers at walmart today 24 dollars but they had screws .You could cut the quick connect off and wire it in .It was for led lights .I used one of them last year for lights by my driveway and it had quick connect and I just cut it off and wired it in and no problems so far it runs 10 led lights on my driveway .Other transformer got blown apart by storm

Awesome! 35w is plenty. And screws are perfect because my current string of lights ends in bare wire, not quick connect. Which is why I was trying to figure out how to deal with a transformer with a male quick connect connection point.
Thanks much!
