So nice to see so many people that like snakes! I had a huge black snake that stayed in barn in hay bales. If we turned bale over and snake was under, we just turned it back, got another one. :) I stop to miss them in my yard when mowing, too. I hate skeeters and bugs that sting (wasps, hornets, etc.) far more! Barn swallows moved in, dive and swoop while I mow, so funny. I'm chasing up bugs for them! Wish I had more, but this year so far only one pair in the barn. Last year, 4 pair, and probably 20 babies by end of summer!

Yeah, and I don't wish I had more bugs either. Geesh, that was all messed up! Hate skeeters, and also bugs that sting. And, I had 4 pair of barn swallows last year, this year so far only a pair. Clear as mud? I type too fast, don't proofread .... that's my story anyhow. :) Patti

Waiting for his kid to get here, in the next hour or so, or at any time lol. Then off we go. I do have a way to chat while he drives, but I will be sleeping once we get going, take over driving later.

looking at the pic, I can't identify it but it doesn't appear to be one to worry about around the pond. From you profile I would say it may be a king snake but from that distance hard to say. Doesn't appear to be any of the water snakes I'm familar with that would be a pond problem.

not a managed tract and I could take pics of 15 different areas around highway 58 where they have forested or are foresting and what a mess they leave behind ,branches pieces of trees to rot and get termites across the highway from me they did 344 acres 2 years ago and down by Axton dump they did 295 acres last fall and across from that they did 200 acres in the spring and it keeps going
