Hi all,I work at a golf club and we have a medium to large sized pond close to our clubhouse, we have an oase pondjet floating fountain installed. We have always had trouble with the impeller collecting grass clippings and blocking up which need removing almost every other day. This time however the pump has completely burnt out. My question is does anybody know of a retro fit pump rather than an genuine oase pump (this is our second pump ) any suggestions will be gratefully recieved

I like Laguna pumps but I don't know anything about which kind to use in floating fountain.

YOU WANT A TRASH PUMP THEY CAN HANDLE SOME SOLIDS LIKE GRASS CLIPPINGS. BUT EVEN AFTER THAT IS PURCHASED AND INSTALLED I YELL AT MY GROUNDS CREW TO DOUBLE RING THE POND THROWING THE CLIPPINGS AWAY FROM THE WATER. THE BIG DIFFERENCE WILL BE ENERGY CONSUMPTION, BUT NOT SO MUCH A GOLF COURSE WILL GO BROKE BY ANY MEANS. GO TO UNDERWATER WHARE HOW CLICK ON SEND A MESSAGE BOTTOM RIGHT AND ASK WHAT HE RECOMENDS FOR A TRASH PUMP FOR A FOUNTAIN. OR WHAT HE WOULD USE .
