I was asked how do you receive notification if someone you follow posts something. I checked all the preferences and don't see anything to check, is there a way?

As far as I know, there is no way to get notifications for that. You can, however, view your News Feed and that will show all recent activity from people you follow.

I wondered what that follow/followed thing was.
    I had no clue.

Shame there isn't a way to get notifications though! There is a new version of the forum software coming out soon, so it's always possible it will change in the future... Guess we'll have to wait and see!
