Aha! That explains why my neighbor was dry-firing his Glock out of his bedroom window yesterday -- it's tick season!

You have a host load more parasites out there other than ticks. Look at those hangry woodchucks. Scorpions, Desert ratlers. Not to mention those temps, winds , lack of water and sand in every crack. Tough breed out there.

We have deserts we just don't try to live there oh .. oh .. ohhhhhhhh
