I love this forum it is so helpful for a newbie like me also I was wondering if anybody can tell me what plant this is? Attached a pic also of my little" puddle" in the front yard have a 350 gallon in the backyard. Thanks!

Looks a lot more like a pickerel. Wrong leaf shape for taro, & I'm not familiar with a taro that blooms.
