Mares tail will root wherever it touches soil, but can also survive for long periods as a floater. It will wedge itself among rocks, and looks good in waterfalls.

Would that clog up the filter and keep the water from flowing or even worse clog up you pump .Or start growing and taking over your pond .I like how it looks but wondering about the chance of problems with it down the line
