Pond pileup

Well I guess the new small pond is a success, at least for the frogs. We emptied the 500 gallin bog as it had gotten clogged and set it up as a pond for plants and small fish. The frogs moved in and have now taken over! Not sure what normal frog mating behavior is but pretty sure this might be a bit much! Yes, there are 5 frogs!

I had so many frogs I have big tubs of water and even a concrete tub of water and I take them down to the creek nearby and release them back to the wild .Frog heaven .

When I first went down there, there were only 3. By the time I got the camera, 2 more had joined the party. I wish I had shot video as they all croaked at the same time. It would have made a youtube viral video. An hour later they are all on the sides of the pond chilling out. I think I saw a few cigarettes! At least I won't have to worry about the fish going hungry with all the frog eggs.

That would have been a good video. Always have all your cameras w/ you when visiting the pond from now on. You can hang them all around your neck, it's good uplifting exercise
