Pond Rebuild - help needed

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the forum.

I moved into a new house around 3 years ago, which had a pond with 5 fishes. Due to not knowing anything about ponds, I didn't know how to maintain it. So the fishes ended up dying a year later.

I've now got some spare time to wok on the pond. To rebuild it again as the plastic sheet in the pond is torn and needs replacing.

Here are a few pictures of the pond when i first moved in.

As I'm going to be replacing the sheet I'm thinking of adding a spot light, pump and filter. Maybe also two stepping stones in the middle of the pond.

Has anyone got tips as to what pump and filter would be best for my size pond?

That is a nice little pond you have there...
When you change the liner get one that is 45 mil thick and it will last a long time...

I personally use a Beckett W1150 from Home Depot and the EPDM liner they sell witch is 55 mil.
