🌅 morning just joined the forum
I year ago we had an pond made and we have a an issue with it
The pond was dug into the ground and bricked and sealed
The issue is we want the pond to come up level with the slabs but we can only fill it 8 inches from the top as it appears to have a leak
I have sealed all around the inlet and outlet pipes but still leaks
The pond is filled and settled and is fine except for blanket weed
Is there a sealant on the market I can use which is pond friendly to apply with fish in the pond
I am just concerned I might get done drips in the pond and kil the fish
I don't want to empty the pine as I have knowhere to put my fish if it is for more than a few hours

Thank you

Do you actually see the leak? Not sure what bricked and sealed is. Do you have a liner in there too or is this a concrete pond? Need more specific info on exactly what it is made of. Show us photo's, close up and etc.

Hi JW the pond was bricked and than sealed
You cannot see the leak at all
I have two outlets for the pond filter and they do not leak at all
It us strange it only drops done about 8 inches the rest holds the water fine
It does not have a pond liner

So what kind of bricks? Concrete blocks, red house bricks? Let us see a photo. If the leak stops at a certain point and goes down no more after a few days of just sitting there then the leak is somewhere at that line. You have to find where the leak is at. I have heard others saying to pour some kind of white liquid, maybe milk in and see where the water goes out. Hope someone can come in here and help you better w/this than me. Not fun to have a leak that you can't find.
