Potted Lotus in Central Pa

I'm planning on moving my smaller pots in to the goldfish lily pond. Will need to put them up on milk crates but planning on letting them eventually run free.

Don't be lazy @GBBUDD - if ya had grass, you'd mow it every week, right? Lotuses are MAGICAL.

Thanks @Lisak1 That i do, but as I near 60 I'm less likely to jump with both feet forward without some thought. But I can Still outwork most without much effort.

Weekly fertilizer. Without fail. They won’t bloom without it.

Mine never get fertilized. They bloom a lot.

But they do get dirty pond water, in a tub that is never cleaned, disturbed, etc.

I think free range lotuses are a whole different ball game. In a pot they need lots of supplementation.
