Predators---Used to be a heron, now a bald eagle.

I used to have a heron that would stop by and clean my out several years ago. Netted the pond at time period, but became too much of a nuisance. Heron hasnt been around for a long time. My neighbor told me a bald eagle swooped down and stole a nice koi today. Guessing this wasn't a 1st visit. Cant win! We live in a forested area in VT with no ponds nearby. Just ranting. Any suggestions to keep the bald eagle away?

Flight path interrupted. They need to fly in swoop and head back up.
