people are saying they match their liquid test results. you can check your parameters on your computer or smartphone any time... nice!

I saw them advertised about a year ago and they sound great for fresh water applications. I wonder if they could be used in the winter at the bottom of a pond.
I would love to be able to monitor the O2 during periods of ice cover.

There's a salt water monitor from another company coming out this year. It monitors mag, calcium alk as well.
I'm keeping my eye on the release of that item.

yeah.. they already have these for saltwater applications too, if I'm not mistaken
and yes.. they work in "wintered" over ponds too.

Initial cost seems reasonable. I wonder about the life of the probe(s) and replacement costs. This is where many of these meter manufacturers sock it to you.

The pads on the Seneye have to be replaced every 30 days, so that won't work for ice cover longer than that.
The pond version doesn't list O2 as a parameter it measures.
Too bad...
(The user pic you displayed shows O2 though...)

Not wanting to burt anyones bubble over this system people but it has its flaws
Many koi keepers simply dont want to be beholden to seneye each month ,I took great interest too it when it was launched in the UK , as it sounded like a good idea , then I started talking to people....
I went so far as to put in a pipe for this systems electrics then after talking with other keepers scrubbed round the idea .
I think they are holding out for a system you dont have to be beholden too.
Good as it is it should cover every aspect of your systems water perameters and so far it doesnt , our pond has been up and running for five years now I wonder why they havent added them yet , though it looks like a damn good idea I dont know .
