1200 gals of crystal clear water, happy healthy koi... five 17" - 20".. one 20" pieco, one 6" koi, and 50+ 2" -3" fry/ juveniles.
28".Still looking good! How deep is your pond?
tmann.......no he or she is usually in plain sight. That is some clear water. Does your pleco stay hidden most of the time?
YES .it is bare bottomed, except the gravel my fish have managed to make a mess with...my plants are in pots ($1.79 oil pans from Meijers) with peagravel and 1" - 1&1/2" river rock. my iris are bareroot in a milk crate, with 1 large stone on the bottom for weight, i cut some 1' long 1/2" stakes from polyethelene stock that are pushed into its root ball thru the openings in the milkcrate to secure them.Beautiful..are all your plants in pots? What is on the bottom of your pond? bare bottom liner?
