I always go in lowes and try putting different things together .That is how I came up with the spitters .Just cheap and it costs so little to make things up .I saw the exact same type of spitter made up by a pond builder just 2 weeks ago .I think he stole my idea .I put it on you tube with my pond video .

I love those fat stubby goldfish too. They swim so peacefully bumbling around pond without a care in the world.

I love them because they are slow and easy to watch

I think they would survive in my pond now cuz the net will protect them from the evil, sushi seeking, long legged, long beaked big blue bird!

I love the look of them I called the koi breeder in NC to see if he could get me 2 of them ,keeping my fingers crossed

I had some in my deck pond, for the winter I put them in the 1000 gallon tank. Got them from the fishery near here. Hoping they are alive and healthy when the ice melts. Nice colors, blue tons.

since people wonder about my sump pump hose I would include a few pics of how I connected the hose back together .When I had my old pond it was shorter so hose was shorter but i saved the rest of it to connect it for the longer pond .You can see the flat part compared to the ribbed part .The piece inside it is a thin wall piece of pvc pipe uncle bert and auntie ag wants food

I see everything looks nice and green down there.... still waiting for leaves to come. Some of my choke cherry trees have small leaves just starting to come now.
