size of liner

I want to put in a new pond but I need to know what size liner to get.My pond is going to be 12ftx8ft and 3ft deep.What size liner do I need to get to fit this hole

I always plan a little extra, just in case. Then I don't trim until a day after filling. I have found many uses for the trimmed leftovers.

I wouldn't buy the liner till you dig the hole.Crap happens! Then do as above.

One last thought....If you go a little large and fold in or hide the extra around the edges for a while, you'll have a second chance at adjusting later. It's amazing what you'll think of after a few months of fiddling and wish you had a second chance. I find "ponding" very fluid and changeable...

I've done just that with a small pond, wanted it a bit deeper on one edge, so just uncovered my hidden liner and did it!
