Skimmer protection for frogs

Well it is that time of year when the tree frogs love the skimmer. Here is what I do to help them not get sucked down to the pump. I have a screen over the basket and some filter material around the pump area.

I turn mine off, the tiny toads and tree frogs just can't stay out of mine. It is a pool skimmer, no pump in the skimmer, but works with my external pump.
