We had a church lose all of its koi this winter. so i sold my breeders to them at a nice discount price. and am now awaiting the arrival of 100 1&1/2" - 2" koi. butterfly and standard fin. after a month i may buy 100 more from a different supplier. quarentine them and give them a home. select the top 50 and sell the rest next spring, as they should all be 4-6inches by then. then grow out the 50 to see whch to breed.
my first 100 should arrive tommorrow!
before i get 20 people posting "post some pics".... you know i will!!! this is my first volume purchase, i do hope i am pleased with what shows up! cross your fingers for me, please.....

Post some pics ;) sorry I had too ask :) That would be cool to buy that many and see the final result but at the same time that is a lot of fish at once too. I would be a little nervous

Koiguy- you must have a lot of people with ponds in your area! I try to sell 2-3 dozen fish a year and it's not easy. I can't imagine selling that many. Luckily one of my regulars has a 20000-30000 gal. pond and always wants fish. My sale fish are usually larger- 12-20".

Mark, For butterfly koi talk to Joe and Cheryl at Blackwater creek. They have probably the most constant nice butterfly koi I know of to buy in bulk. At that amount they will give a nice price break.

THEY'RE HERE GUYS AND GALS!.. got here at 10:20... still acclimating them. the water in the bag was quite warm, and the ph was higher. they all look pretty good. except the 6 that came DOA. been filling the bag with oxygenated water from my basement pond. 1 cup at a time every 10 mins. set up a 5 gal bucket with bubbler and .1% salt. they will spend the afternoon there for observation. because of their size, i think i might build a floating cage for them. and i may just keep them in the basement pond..safer. and i can leave the outdoor pond alone til next year. is that just lazy or what?
