Solar Pond Aerator

Does anyone use a Solar Pond Aerator? Or really any kind of aerator? The summers in Barcelona are sweltering - normally well into October. I'm concerned that the temperatures will be too much even with all the oxygenating plants and my fish will get stressed.

I'm thinking of getting a Solar Pond Aerator to help combat the problem.

Opinions...Suggestions....HELP?

Thanks,
Michelle

never tried a solar aerator but I wouldn't go a summer without some additional aeration of some kind weather it be air or a pump pointed across the surface to aerate that way.

I looked for solar, but did not find any that seemed to work that well. Air pump or even just a cheap fountain pump will help. Or you can plump in a line with small holes drilled in it very small holes and let the pump send a little water into the pipe (have a ball valve in it to control the flow). Set it up to spray over the pond.
