I've been growing BBS to feed my fry. I have the square bases that you screw a 2L soda bottle on.
I've tried to read up on this, as well as watch videos, but it's pretty simple to do. Still......

- How do you know when to stop draining from the bottle when harvesting them? I cover the bottle and have a light at the neck area so they'll accumulate down there, but I never know if I'm getting them all -- and I hate to stop too soon 'cause I don't want to waste the stragglers, but also don't want to catch the casings & unhatched eggs.
- And then, I still end up with tons of crud on the bottom of the fry tank afterwards. So I must be getting a lot of the casings anyway.
- Are there tricks for improving the hatch rate?
