Toad love is in the air Spring.

Ahhhh......Spring......Love is in the air......slept with the window open last night and was treated to the songs of love all night......got home this afternoon and checked my skimmer and there were 16 toads in there waiting for me to rescue them......I gathered them up in a bucket and walked about a hundred yards back in the woods behind my house and released them......came back to the pond and started looking around and "Lo and Behold".....there are eggs in every nook and cranny of my plants there are masses of eggs everywhere......such is ponds in the south.....just hope it doesn't give my Koi ideals.......Jimmy

Ahhhh yes, the cycle of life!! I wish my koi would skip a year - ha !

I have a couple of huge frogs on my pond this year, should I worry for the safety of my smaller koi?
