There is a product on the health market that goes by the name of wartner it has a use with koi/goldfish health
Basically its a way to freeze warts off and promote rapid skin regeneration.seen by we Humans
It is one of a few Human/Fish cross over medications .
About a year ago a Dealer friend of mine suggested Wartner to corterise a koi's wound rather than use Hydrogen Peroxide.
This I did after cleaning cleaning along the operation site,this and saw rapid skin regeneration which was fantastic .
It does however have one drawback which is the price £12-50p from the Chemist or Super Market and has a years shelf life another drawback.
But if used correctly for what it does its leaps and bounds ahead of the old treatment
